NEWS: Mirarobot S60, a TinyWhoop class brushed RTF FPV quadcopter

Recommended Posts

Another RTF basic brushed 5.8G FPV racer is introduced by Mirarobot with the S60: https://www.banggood.com/Mirarobot-S60-Micro-FPV-Racing-Drone-Quadcopter-Acro-Flight-Mode-Switch-with-CM275T-5_8G-720P-Camera-p-1209375.html

It’s a super compact machine, a tinywhoop size with a max weight of 27g with the battery included. The originality with this machine is the support of the angle/rattitude and acro modes. Good point :). The FPV rig is based on the CM275T, the well known ultralight weight 25mW 48CH AIO module. For the 2.4G the announced output power is “only” of 4.5mW…. so far to the max 100mW allowed for the 2.4G band. The main question what will be the max control range in practice (announced to be bounded to 120m)? Notice there are some telemetry buzz feedbacks sent to the radio ringing when the machine is close to out of range or when the LiPo is under 2.9V
