Help getting stepper motors to function properly

Hi,
I purchased a Rambo Mini v1.3 motherboard from Amazon and flashed Marlin as instructed on the firmware page. I installed Repetier and managed to connect to the controller, but I can't get the stepper to move. I feel the stepper "trying" but it doesn't actually turn.
I tried 2 different motors in connectors x and y with the same results. Do I need to adjust something in the software? I'm not sure what other information I can provide at this point.
I'm using the 12V, 6A power supply below. It's connected to the power input and plugged into the bed (edit, I just removed the connection to the bed but the effect is still the same). Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
